Some Feedbacks and Issues
- Not enough traps: some traps have to be added, especially ground traps and there s too much ''Bumping traps'' in comparaison to the rest. (i really miss the Archers Trap so i hope something similar could be added)

- Infinit Waves Mod: no idea if we have that yet or not, i guess we have to finish the campaign first killing all bosses. But if it s not implemented yet, it s a MUST HAVE.
This single thing made me play Orcs Must Die 2 a lot more hours just to beat personal scores.

- Didnt try Multiplayer yet (waiting for friends), but i REALLY HOPE that we can take the same character than someone else... first cause we have to upgrade those characters and also cause all characters arent fun for everybody to play with. So forcing players to play something they dont like would be a bad game design.

- Boss fights, i just feel like there should be normal waves like in previous maps, Wave 1, 2, 3, 4... and then wave 5 the Boss spawns. No idea why the boss isnt attacking the Rift, it s just weird that it only tries to kill you instead of working like a normal big mob but slower taking all the path until he can attack the rift.
When he see the player ofc he fights back and try to kill it, but the final stage is ''Epic Enough'' with some pressure that if you dont kill the boss quickly enough you lose.
If you manage to clear all mobs easily, then it s just a running simulator with the boss behind you, which makes no sense at all.
It s even worse cause some traps need to ''scale'' so having those traps for the final boss is nearly useless.

- Trap Upgrades feel a bit boring (Price, Damage, CD...), in previous game you could litteraly change the type of a trap so turn an Acid Pool into a Lava Pool or things like that. I dont understand why here it s not the case, when it could EASILY multiply the amounts of traps by 2x or 3x.
Not even that hard to pull off, as it s a reskin and a different effect on mobs. So a Acid trap that turn into Lava change Green to Red/Orange and instead of inflicting the Acid debuff, inflicts the fire debuff.

- It would be interesting for the random Buffs and Debuffs, that there was a way to choose Buffs and Debuffs that might spawn.
For example you go to the Wizard and have like 100 points, to spend on those Cards. Those cards should have some Rarity like: White Green Blue Purple Yellow
So if 1 Yellow Card cost 10 points and is a buff, then you have to take 1 Yellow Card that is a Debuff that cost 10 points.
Right now it s a bit too RNG and could be more interesting if we were able to influence what we can have.
Ofc some cards should be mandatory and players shouldnt have the choice to turn them off (for balance so there s no ''Best Cards to take'' optimisation.

- Give the ability to reroll the game if we dont like the first maps variants with weather and debuffs. You can ofc launch the game and just lose asap, but it just some unecessary extra steps.

- Barricade system is interesting but since last it seems we have more of them? Which totally change the balance of the game. Previously Cards like +2 Barricades where super important in some maps, right now it feels like it made the game easier.
If we have enough of them to turn every single map in one tunnel... then there s no point of having maps, just create a single tunnel map (if you see what i mean).
So something has to be reworked on this aspect of the game. Right now it s not good enough, EVEN IF it s really interesting to have a limit on those items.

- Melee Combat being locked while attacking just feels bad. You can adapt your gameplay, but it s not fun to do that.

- One last thing i dont get is why there s no more combat mecanism if apparently combat is more important in this version of Orcs Must Die.
Why no dodge, no block, no heavy attacks and so on... for your character AND for some ennemies too? If the game focus more on fighting with your character then the combat mecanism should also be upgraded.
In previous game you could choose to focus more on traps, more on fight and so on... so having a simple combat system was fine, but if it turns out that fighting is mandatory, then the system should be improved.
For some players it s a problem, on my side Orcs Must Die was always a Tower Defense where you fight and not an AFK game where you set traps and just watch, otherwise there s plenty other Tower Defense games where you only play with traps.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Well which you all the best, hope the game will work and improve, right now it s really fun and have to admit that it feels harder than previous games but maybe cause it takes a bit of time to have the upgrades.
Just wish there s something interesting once we manage to kill all bosses, like unlocked mods like infinit waves and so on...

I am All in favor of the Archers making a comeback, they were one of my favorite traps in OMD3, and they were instead replaced for Sentinels that i Rarely if Ever use since majority of the times, their placeable locations is Exactly where i want to funnel the waves, so i never get the chance to use them in the first place cause they'll just die.

As for the Trap Upgrades/Modifications aswell as Characters and how they feel/handle...They Perfected that in Unchained, i have no earthly idea why they thought to Remove them in future releases, THEY WERE SO GOOD!
The Variety, the Combos, the amount of insane builds you could pull off, it was fantastic! They gave you a Proper reason to keep playing, to find the new Cards to make your traps more powerful, more fun, making Useless traps Actually useful!
This? This is a Castrated version of what we had, and a Corpse of what we Could've gotten.

And why are they so slow on producing new traps? Again, Unchained, they have an absolute GOLDMINE to take from, yet they're not, it's an honest to god Crying Shame that they're leaving it to rot like this, no wonder the game already feels dead and done. they're not using their greatest asset.
I mean sh*t, the only reason Unchained shut down was because they couldn't afford to keep the servers open anymore, there is no reason to leave those gems wasting away like this.
I think what is the biggest F U is the Museum (and few other) Map has Painting and Statues of the Unchained characters, stuffed up corpses or Skeletons of old Enemies, and now they've even (finally) added in one or two Revamped versions of Unchained Maps, but it's so slow that it feels like they're just Toying with us, like an Indie Dev basically never updating their game just so that they can keep collecting money from their Patreon like some scummy A hole *cough* Yandere Simulator *cough*

It could be so much better, but they're blue balling us like this to the point that i do not want to enjoy it...
