Possible change for 1st mission

I have playing a little bit this morning and have already noticed something. When going into a mission chain I tend to restart the first mission to get a new set of missions if i dislike the first set of choices.

Is it just me or should we get a tweak of some kind for the first mission of every chain we do. Like a re-roll or a choice of maybe just the map with no negatives. Other wise i feel like the optimal strategy will be reset until you get a favorable 1st map option.
