You do realise that GOG.com prices for actual classics are $4.99 for general, $9.99 for something like this right? (Skipping out the $15 and $20+ titles on GoG.com as they're generally new releases)

You're complaining how this is a rip off for the price, then saying you'll go to GoG.com to spend around the same price on some titles that are questionably worth the same price in terms of quality and content.

GoG.com is a great site, but you're deluding yourself if you think that dragons lair at $9 (or £6.29) is overpriced compared to GoG.com that would probably charge the same price given their standard pricing ranges.

Now Dragons Lair not being your thing, and there being other completely different games out there for the same price... that's another point entirely.

9 bucks is like 9 pennys to me

you're just cheap and poor thats all. This is a super bargain. The hundreds of games of better old games that I find on gog are rip off, I can find em at garage sales for 50 c a piece or less and you're being charged 2 bucks

Well, truth be told is I'm sure I spent more than 9 bucks playing this game at Showbiz Pizza Place back in the mid 80's. Therefore, to us "40 year olds", the price is well worth the childhood memories. Thanks for bringing DL to Steam!

I have been trying to find this game anywhere in the Milkyway (without of course buying the Actual Arcade Game) - This and Space Ace were 2nd Favourite to the likes oSpace Invaders, Scramble & Centipede - I think it is an ok price for a little nostalgia :) - I am certain threw more than $9.00 worth of 20 cent pieces into it :D

Do the math, people! You can't touch the Dragon's Lair Anniversay DVD collection for less than $40.00. Break it down - you are essentially paying $13.33 per game (i.e. Dragon's Lair, Dragon's Lair II: Timewarp, and Space Ace) when you purchase the Anniversary DVD collection. So how the heck is $9.00 for the Steam version of DL a rip off? You're SAVING $4.33 when you do.

When Digital Leisure FINALLY releases the other two games (which I am sure they will), you will be saving a total of $12.99 if you buy all three games here on Steam versus the DVD Collector's set. Geesh. It's simple math, people!

Not sure of DL2 but Space Ace is on the iOS already (missing scenes though i read) for the same as DL1 here.
so it can't be long if DL1 is now here!

Greenlight's gotten better over the months, the first 5 months were terrible pure garbage...this game should have been bundled with the other games or cost $2.99 max...Game can be beating in 15 minutes...That's not to say if you loved the game back in the day that you shouldn't buy it for it's current price because you have the nostalgia but don't sit here for those that don't have memories of the game saying its worth $9...that's just dumb cuz its not v.v not for people who never played it.

All this is proof of is that there are plenty of people in their 40s now who remember the monolith that this game was in the arcades, how hard it was to get a chance to play, how hard ti was to figure out what to do, and how expensive it was. We are all grown up now and paying $9 for the opportunity to get all nostalgic and remember that summer when you were 14, 15, 20 whatever, whener you want is well worth it. Dragin Lair II was a much weaker product, so no loss - and I hope this irritates you, but Id pay $9 for Space Ace as well.

I also fail to see in any way whatsoever how this demonstrates the "failure of Greenlight". What it does deomstrate, however, is just how ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cheap you are.

Yeah, Space Ace was a good game tho. This one was downright broken. Not here to hate on it, but this game is not worth that much. I will get it when its around 3-5 euros to see if it actually got better.
Now you are going to call me cheap either ? Go ahead...if wanting something out of my money is being cheap then a im cheap sure...altho i buy good games on several platforms.
This is not one of those good games tho nostalgy or not.
