Cat Controls are broken

So the cat chase scene pops up, it says "Hold SHIFT or R2 to run" I hit the button, and the cat still kills me, Wtf? It doesn't seem like it's only me that is having trouble with this, like why am I dying over and over again, for doing what the game is telling me to?

You have to hold Shift an simutaniously push "S" The Controls are kinda invert.

Same issue here. I tried tapping, holding shift with S, with W, Lshift, Rshit... Nothing. I've seen that poor mouse die so many times by now

Yeah I figured it out by luck, you hold shift and S to go towards you and away from the cat, does not mean that I didn't still die a whole bunch, luckily there are save points in the entire chase sequence.

same... i use a controller..... worked find up until this part. I moved around and all that just fine in the entire basment... the second it says R2 to run... uh oh!! my controller doesn't work

The whole chase is really hard. Because you don't run where the mouse look but where the environment is. It's like a 2D Game, but the Kamera turns in some szenes. E.g. you want to get away from the cat, press to the direction where the mouse should go on the screen, not where the mouse is pointed at.
Still its buggy, you need to jump and run and find the way through the alpha-walls.
This szene nearly got me to deinstall without finishing it.
