Entropy 100
So I finished Entropy 49 and they instantly unlock all the way up to 100. Tried it, but didn't got even near the first boss. Normal enemies +120%HP is too much and they tank so hard that I end up playing bad. Since Mind upgrade gives nothing bu HP, is there something I can do to kill stuff better or just git gud and learn to play around really tanky stuff? I have Skill/Elite Crystals but thats all my dmg.

You haven't given much details but I'm afraid to say it's likely a skill issue, or most exactly a "how to build well" skill issue. I'd kinda recommand to go back to 50 and grind more gradually to learn.

That said, here is a simple tip. Have an interesting tactics setup right of the start (do not start with 2 of your stating tactics locked for example) and use your Legacy skills to do damage. And never dodge Potentials Space.

Your HP is just a "buffer", 100% of the damage can be avoided in this game (and know that there is a difficulty beyond E100 so don't hurry, take your time to learn, as even E100 Transcendance can be done under the 30min timer)
Finished 100 already, after some failed tries with Noel.
I don't really have many legacy and used dagger/dagger dmg + Air blade/light spears, Rachel+Jin
I was using Max HP Crystals but changed them for healing after perfect space, since Max HP in this game is not great, and healing potioins suck because of % healing and potion debuffs.
It wasn't that hard after all, but I felt really weak early compared to lower Entropy till I got some decent stuff.

Kinda a meh crystal, since, if you are fully mind upgraded, it will heal rarely more than 25% of your total max hp at best (since you start at 280% and the mind crystal heal 60%). But it's great if you are strugling indeed.

Congrats :)

That means you can start switching to a probably better but less forgiving mind crystal setup and lean towards Transcendance mode :)

My recommanded Mind Crystals :
* +200 Initial EP
* +200 EP on perfect boss
* One exchange item at -90%
* +50 MP
* Elite Damage
* Combo Damage
I win all the time with high entropy and my high score is 2780. I can tell you from firsthand experience that a good combination of legacies to start with will alleviate much of the difficulty early on.
Since you said you have few legacies, I recommend doing a couple runs where you ONLY take the 2 tactics you want to have on the legacy, upgrade them to gold, then die and save it.
The legacy combo i've used in all of my runs is Jin for obvious reasons and Taokaka for the extra little damage boost. Tactics are Summon Ice Spike + Multi Ice Spike on one evotype and Cold Attack + Frost Burst on the other. If you prefer playing characters that spam skills swapping out Cold Attack for Skill Cold wouldn't be a bad idea though. The main idea is you REALLY want to be proccing frost burst as often as possible, because it can do a stupid amount of damage even on high entropy

I think I got Cold Attack Gold + Frost Burst Purple legacy with Noel that last run. I like the idea of Legacies but being tied to random rolls at the end is annoying. Having to do runs where you only focus on getting the 2 perfect legacies is cheesy.

I have Mind level 43, 84% max HP so healing 45% is more than enough for the dmg I get in bosses or if I ♥♥♥♥ up in a space.

With the "you have no idea what you buy and 200% shop price", starting with a little cash doesn't sound great, and 200 ep is useless for me since I don't really perfect bosses xD

I use Attack/SKill/Elite/Combo dmg, heal on perfect and +40 AP on space, which helps getting some extra AP to level mind and crystals, since they are not level 3 yet.
Meh I’ve done a couple runs on it now. Successful ones. It’s just not very fun. I really dislike difficulty that just adds more rng rather than requiring more skill. Not that skillful play can’t overcome the new rng added, but it’s just a slog. Entering spaces you don’t care about because you can’t see them. Not knowing anything in the shop aside from guessing due to price or placement. Getting obnoxious debuffs some of which are just co-op nightmares.

To make it worse, some characters heavily rely on legacy to get through the first area so you might need to drop the difficulty to normal and do a run trying to cheese out a certain legacy. Random stuff just won’t really cut it on advanced 100 or it will make it very difficult for a few characters.

Idk there had to be a better way to make the game challenging without just having the player make arbitrary choices based on hidden information as a guess.

Personally, I don't like either the options that hide information like the shop or the spaces. Don't like the free debuffs either since you can get stuff you don't care like potions heal less or plain "your skills deal 15% less dmg" which is a cheap ♥♥♥♥ you.

Maybe it is cheesy but you need every upper edge you can get if you're stacking all of the difficulty modifiers, and getting a good legacy naturally would take a long time otherwise.

I won't speak on the EP crystals because I don't rely on those either but I will say even with the shop items hidden you can still tell what you're buying. From left to right, leftmost is always an HP mixture, then HP recovery, middle and middle-right vary between potentials/tactics/tactic ascension but you can still tell by the price, and rightmost is always a buff.
I believe that outside of skill, you need a good combo of Legacy + tactics on them.
My go to is Jin and Hakumen + Summon Ice Spike/Endless Spike and Skill LIghtning/pulsing Lightning on either of them.

Hakumen is a good "Oh Crap!" button as a Legacy. Super Armor on block/hit taken is just cherry on top. Jin on another hand give you a good CC as an active, but the passive that create a slow time when you perfect dodge is just too good to pass. Give you time to combo or think when situations get tense.

Summon Ice Spike is great as it target thing out of view, like those nasty shooting drone. It not only does damage, but also interrupt them. The upgrade make it shot constatly rather than in waves and it make it more consistent.

Skill LIghtning is a super power full tool that does a tons of damage, even at the start of your run. It's upgrade is basically OP and apply the skill lightning debuff when it activate. So you use a special ability, everybody take a debuff, when they die they explode doing a lot of damage (enough to kill after enough upgrade) but still debuff before, meaning the dying target will explode, debuffing the one next to it, etc...
It's a screen clearer like no other. Try to catch the upgrade that make the explosion radius bigger.

For Evotype that can super easily clear the game there is Hakumen on top, thank to his Yukikaze potential line

Require a bit more setup (of potentials), quite safe, not too tactics dependent:
-Rachel with her infinite iframe air dash + either frog or lobelia potential line is super safe. Pretty much as good as Hakumen, just not as destructive (by a small margin)
-Bullet is just a brute. Whatever you do with her, you'll end up destroying things quickly.

Require more setup (of potentials), not as safe or good be more tactics dependent:
-Ragna with his blood Kain potential line + DbD is just invincible. But if you miss one of your super, you are at low life in a pinch situation. Also until you get all the required potential you don't hit as hard and don't have this super life recovery which make you not as effective and more at risk with your life recovery.
-Jin: once you fully have the yukikaze upgrade it's a mini Hakumen. Problem is that there is a lot of potential to pick out side of Yukikaze to activate it's passive. Nothing too crazy, still not as safe as having it straight forward like Haku.
-Nu13 her Sword Summoner Ex is already super good, making you quite safe, but her Luminous Slave Ex line is just OP against boss. Just summon three portal and just focus on defense. Problem is that she don't have this regeneration or iframe the other have and she is a bit more Tactic dependent for some nice combo of damage.
-Hazama: his Serpent's Unholy Wrath + Universal upgrade Potential line make him totally OP. Once fully upgraded you can stomp infinitly with full iframe and recover the MP to launch another one in the process. Add Horde of Hungry Coil, lot of damage full iframe, and you have the perfect combination of damage + invicibility. BUT... Require a lot of potential.

Know that everyone of them are pretty equivalent in term of OPness, I just separated them into how quickly and easily they can reach this level.

Pretty deep explanation ngl. I'll try to get a decent pair of legacy since it seems pretty much needed.

Btw, you mean Skill Lightning + Pulse Lightning?

If you're going to mention Rachel's infinite dash frames, Taokaka also has that. If you then bring her through the boss rush, you can replace her merely okay Legacy with a strong defensive tool.

Not trying to cheese stuff anyway.

That’s the game though. Do the broken thing so you can win in the time limit.

About the Ice Spikes. Endless requires ice attack, so you should need to always pick that if you go for legacy lightning/pulse + Ice Spike/endless right? Or is there something that allows you to skip the requirement?
