I also want to point out that the game is labeled BlazBlue only because the gameplay playable characters are from BlazBlue (so far, other IP will come later according to latest news).
The story of the game itself have nothing to do with Blazblue.
I would speculate that the game was made being called Entropy Effect and they either got approached or asked by BlazBlue to use their characters.
I did read (not sure if true) the game barely got off the ground but somehow rose out the ashes to be what it is today.
