Online Co-Op max player limit?

How many players are allowed for online co-op? I haven't tried online co-op yet, and before I go tell my friends to buy it, I'd like to know what the limit is.

There's no online co-op, only badly designed PvPvE. There might be one in the future, might not.

Oh. That's incredibly misleading. The store page very literally states the game is Online Co-Op. That's disappointing. Thank you for your response though.

They just released a patch note stating they are working on adding proper mind training co-op along with a bosh rush mod, so I'd say not hold off for a bit telling your friends to buy it until then if co-op is the only thing you are after.
