gotta say this one kinda sucks.
No tutorial and the locations don't actually ever unlock.
its a puzzle just to make it to the next character interaction.
Like: no hey learn about the people you protect. from you computer...
You have to straight look up info from players who already spent like 50 hours in the demo...

How to unlock the map areas.
Main office>
Computer> web search
Click Name of Characters>Click and read blue text
keep clicking Blue texts Until all demo map locations appear
I think she mentions it when you speak with her while she's doing laundry, then you can search
Oh well, I have more games to play, so maybe play some more later, but looks like my game is brokenly stuck.
Then you are not very good at playing simple games , the computer is dead easy to use and progressing is a simple task of going through the characters and clicking on any new information you have picked up from them by clicking on blue text in conversations or on pages of the computer.
Map areas unlock as you progress by completing the simple investigation steps .. its not rocket science
