Archery XP

Hi, why i dont get archery XP ? I use bow all the time and nothing happened. Someone have this problem too?

You are getting archery xp, it's just incredibly slow. In the time that it has taken me to get to lv7 in other skills, I've gotten 1 level of archery while using archery constantly.

Edit: Right after posting this I finally hit lv2 archery killing a wraith. Point stands, archery levels up just insanely slowly.

Yep, definitely slow to advance the archery level. I finally made it to level 5. It took quite a while. I use the bow all the time. Still have the initial crude one.

if it is based on how much damage you do with it, it makes sense. more damage output could equal quicker leveling. i'm going on level 8 melee using steelsong. i've already maxed farming and trades. meanwhile i'm only level 1 archery XD

According to a legit source in MIrthwood discord, the last hit from the bow/sword counts as the leveling up the XP,
