I NEVER HAVE ANY TRAVELING MERCHANTS AND MY GAME WONT ALLOW ME TO REPORT BUGS
I HAD A TRAVELING MERCHANT ONCE EVER IN THE GAME, IN THE VERY BEGINNING ...THEN I NOTICED I NEVER SAW IT COME AGAIN...I HAVE PLAYED OVER 2 YEARS IN TERMS OF GAMEPLAY AND 130ISH HOURS. I TRIED REPORTING THE BUG IN THE MAIN MENU UPON FIRST LAUNCHING THE GAME BUT EVERY TIME I TYPE UP A REPORT IT SAYS FAILED TO SEND REPORT. I ALSO CANT REPORT BUGS VIA THE STEAM APP BECAUSE IT SAYS THAT STEAM CANT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT SINCE ITS AN INDEPENDENT GAME MAKER. I DONT WANT TO HAVE TO UNINSTALL THE MIRTHWOOD GAME AND RE INSTALL BECAUSE ILL LOSE ALL THAT I HAVE BUILT UP :( DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY ADVICE? PLEASE AND THANK YOU !!!

Same, only saw the travelling merchant once.

Also, since the (undocumented) patch the other day the game has become completely unstable and crashes within seconds.
(Note:Uninstalling and reinstalling did fix the inventory bug I'd reported. The game save was seemingly intact - the game now lasts a good minute before it crashes :/
It is not playable!
Started again, with no crashes, so the save was probably corrupted. Also noticed the price of steel kits jumped up 500g... This game....)

There are a number of other issues, bug, missing features, the road map... no torches, no fishing rod upgrades, tool upgrades that do nothing... all of which strongly suggest this game is still in early access and is not actually a full, final release.

I want to like this game, and always try to support indies, but the balance is wrong, the constant hunger detracts from everything else, and it just feels... not ready.

im glad im not the only one but that really sucks!! sorry to hear that you cant even play it longer than a few minutes. my game does not crash, but does run slow a lot through out gameplay. it will have periodical little "slow downs" where everything goes into slo mo and lags severely. I wondered if its just my computer/laptop though. I mean my computer is a gaming computer but its not as if i have the top of the line laptop either...i really dont know too much about technology either to know if its truly the game or my computer to blame.....:(

don't completely give up on mirthwood!! hopefully throughout 2025 that there will be a slew of updates and bug fixes that transforms the game. Even with the current issues i think that there is hope for the game in the long run. I know that i plan to give it some time through out the year before i write it off. I'm excited for the family and relationship updates...

The hunger mechanic is annoying but it kinda makes sense. You are doing a tremendous amount of labor, thats a lot of calories. Idk what to tell you bout the crashes.
but i only get crashes when i try and quick travel after playing for like an hour.
maybe you should tell us what you are doing so we can help?
I only saw the merchant a few times 3-4 toward the beginning of the game. But never actually WENT to them as I was busy doing other things.

The first year they visited I want to say 3-4 times. Unfortunately for me that first year was difficult to get up and started to make money... So I couldn't really buy much. I'm now into summer, year 2 and have no gotten the traveling merchant or the full moon (wearwolves) card either.. this has to be some sort of bug? Either way it's irritating because now that I actually have the funds I can't buy furniture or rubys.
