where can i find queen bees?

i had a collection of them but then sadly i used them all up while making more honey with my new bee hive house. You need a sh$t load of bees just to make one or two honeys......Now i forget when or how i obtained the queen bees in the first place...of anyone could help me and remind me that would be greatly appreciated!!! :)

As Rob suggests, the queen bees are a random drop from beehives in trees

And how does the beekeeping work? The bee hut asks for queen bees and 100 of "fuel" but it's unclear what the fuel is. I tried wood, stone, hay - it's not that. Thanks.

the "fuel" is the queen bee each queen bee equals 50 fuel

Thanks, got it. The issue was with the controller - with the mouse I can easily click "fuel", but the controller has issues. Similar thing happens with chickens - I cannot assign/butcher with controller, must use the mouse.
