1. Pick up 1 wood.
2. Go to a vendor.
3. Drop all items but the wood.
4. Sell the wood to the vendor and keep pressing sell until you get bored.
5. Go to the buy tab and purchase all the imaginary wood you just sold.
(works in v1.0.10f and earlier versions)

You can use the same glitch for any item.

As for money, just select something expensive in the buy tab and go to the sell tab and sell it (when you have an empty inventory)

Did they "fix" this already? Didn't work for me. Guess I won't build a mill then, the grinding is unreasonable.

Aaaand autosave just before I quit the game to load my save from before that experiment UGHHH

If it didn't work, then it is fixed, not "fixed". This is obviously an unintentional game design. It took me less then 2 in game days to get the wood needed for the mill, and I had zero wood and no trees on my farm when I started grinding for it. Literally the time you spent complaining that you have to grind for resources and looking for a cheat could've been spent on looking for trees, but instead now you have no wood still and no mill. Don't feel bad for you at all.

Yeah how DARE someone whine about not getting to avoid something that they don't enjoy! Games aren't supposed to be fun! The more people complain about the game being grindy, the more grind should be added!

Never said that more grind should be added. But that it's not as much as a grind that you're making it out to be. The grind is there to make sure people don't end up with 20 kegs, casks, mills, and preserve barrels day 2 of the game and then having nothing to work towards.

Growing Crops to Sell = Easy Money. Barely have to water them. Potatoes are a regrowing crop for whatever reason. Plant em once and they regrow every few days. It is in fact a "Farm" you are given in the game. Just go Stardew Valley for the first couple seasons with crops to get that gold to pile up. Also....Brandy sells for like 60 gold. You can find them fairly frequently. Armor and Weapons can sell for a lot too.

If you do a Google search several of the larger table and trainer makers have cheats available (search "mirthwood game table" or trainer). Or you could edit the save file, but I wouldn't recommend that if you don't know what you're doing.
