Seeds? Can we make them ? Or we need to buy?

I can understand that they have to buy at the beginning to get started, but the goal of farming is to be self-sufficient at some point, and they are expensive. So? Did i miss something?

Depends on the what you're trying to plant. Peas for example you only need to buy the seeds once but onions you have to buy them every time.

Yes, you missed something: how farming works in real life. Just because in most games it's "self-sufficient" doesn't mean it has to be so in every game. Your negative review of the game just because you don't get seeds from plants is ridiculous.

If you're going to be snarky, be accurate. Seeds come from plants. Monsanto seeds come from Monsanto, and are not allowed to be planted when taken from plants. That's how farming works in real life.

Well in "real life" you can get back the seed of your own vegetable in your garden. My dad make pumpkin and courgette in his garden, with his free time and he use seed from the last harvest and it's work, some time they had strange shape and size but it's work. I don't speak about industrial farming, when you need to buy seed to a big corporation. I don't think there is a MEGA corportation on this island with a monopoly about seeds with genetically modified plants. We are in a medieval world. I can hear, however, that the harvest may be bad because of the weather, or that it may spoil because of pests.

would be nice if you could over grow a crop to get seeds back. though seeds are incredibly cheap in this game, so I wouldn't say it's much of an issue.

You know people can change their mind? I have change my review in positive after seing some vegetables can regrow without limit like potato or peas. But it's unfortunate than some can't, it's making them not very attractive.

Yeah, it would be realistic to get seeds from every harvest just like in real life - also the way it is now- to be profitable the only plant you plant in your garden is peas...
