From what I have seen, it looks like all character types have a romance selection in dialogue. So I believe it is open to your choice.

There is same-sex romance, and they autonomously flirt with whoever, but marriage/family isn't in the game yet.

I don't think you can kill any townsfolk as far as I'm aware. However, you can lure monsters and thieves/bandits into town and watch every townsfolk immediately pull out their sword and start attacking as a way to kill the enemies indirectly (great for werewolves since they're hard to kill).
