My toughts after playing the Demo..
first of all I have to praise it, it is and plays great.

I have noticed a few things that bother me:
1. the fighting sometimes feels a bit clunky.
2. it would be nice to see if you can loot something, a little glitter would be enough. some chests/barrels and other things look lootable, but they are not and vice versa.
3. if you click on the portrait of an inhabitant to see his stats and he goes away in the meantime, you can't do anything.
4. would be cool if you could follow multiple quests
5. if you loot a corpse or a chest, no matter what. you should see the whole thing like when you open your own chest, so a small inventory where you can move the things back and forth.
6. more blood / brutality - at least available as an option.
7. extend the radius of the watering can a bit so that you always get 4 instead of sometimes only 3 (happened to me several times and is a bit annoying)
8. is it just me or do the days go by really fast?
basically, you don't have much time to do several things - which i think is a shame. but you only stress yourself :) because that brings us straight to the point...
9. local or online multiplayer with another person would be cool. me and my girlfriend have both tested the game and talked about how cool it would be if she could craft and farm everything “at home” while i go on a raid (or vice versa - she's not one for fighting :), but to me fighting in such games is very important)- i think that would be really cool and would take some of the load off.
10. QOL - you should have direct access to EVERYTHING in chests when crafting, cooking, forging, and so on. at the moment you have to carry everything around with you and it's just tedious.
11. an activatable grid system to make it easier to build some things in a row - best example, the heaps of earth for planting (haha)

it plays well and feels good except for the current combat system - i'm not expecting “no rest for the wicked” combat or “v rising” but still something that doesn't feel like dolls going at each other :)

it's definitely on our wish list and we're looking forward to playing it in full.

Thanks for your feedback and suggestions, Larn! Most of the items are on our list and will be receiving attention :)

I would like key remapping to the Numpad keys, or at least stop using I, K, M keys that are far away from the rest of the keys.
Shift+Left click is clunky for combat. Make heavy attack it's own rebindable key/button.
Overall it seems fun and I'll wishlist it. See you at full release.

I strongly agree with #1, 6, 7 and 9. The game is incredible, adding multiplayer and QoL polish would almost definitely ensure longevity and retain players for a longer period of time. Multiplayer is essentially paving way for free marketing these days with streamers and opens the doors for 2-pack bundle deals - great for us and great for the devs. Getting your moneys worth in gameplay hours is always nice but making memories with friends in indie games like this is what keeps many players invested. Even just a 2 player online co-op would be great. This game is already on a really solid track with the single player experience.
