DisplayFusion causing random FPS drops (stuttering) in Fortnite.

Title. Really have no idea why this happens. Probably happens in other Unreal Engine titles as well. The stutters go away as soon as I quit DisplayFusion. Using the multi-monitor taskbar. Not a spec thing, I have a 5800X3D and a 4070 Super.

How often do the stutters happen? Do they happen on a consistent interval?

Not from what I've noticed. All I know is they don't happen with DisplayFusion off. Mostly happens when I rotate the camera. So, mouse movement?

Interesting. Do you use a mouse that has a high polling rate, like 800-1000 Hz?

I've tried reducing it to 500, was still the same. Logitech G102/G203

In DisplayFusion if you add a compatibility rule for Fortnite that prevents the game from being hooked does that help?

I think that BattleEye thing was just an issue where BattleEye was blocking the DisplayFusion hook DLLs from being injected, not a game performance issue. In DisplayFusion if you add a compatibility rule for Fortnite that prevents the game from being hooked does that help?

I've had this issue in Destiny 2 also. After blocking the hook to both BattleEye and Destiny 2, I haven't encountered this mouse stutter issue.

Excellent, glad to hear it! We've tried to automatically not hook the games that use BattleEye but it's not always consistent. Glad to hear that manually blocking them is working so far.
