Anyway to lock all games into a middle square on ultrawide monitor?
Got a G9, coming from running power toys. I heard there was a way to designate or force applications to open into a specific location/window size. Does anyone know how to deploy that ? Some games work just fine, but others like Frost punk 2 , enlisted and warthunder are on their OFP.

I wish there was a way to make my computer think I had 3 separate monitors, but so far no Joy in finding a solution that does that ( as this configuration, I would guess is more friendly to gaming ).

I also might be looking at this as a square hole and using a circle to fill it , any suggestions on looking from it from a different perspective ? I still enjoy 1080p gaming, and prefer to only dedicate 27 in max of space on the G9 to it, preferably dead center.

If the game is set to run in windowed mode (meaning you can resize the game window), you should be able to use monitor splitting in the DisplayFusion Monitor Configuration window and then maximize the game to the middle split. If the game runs borderless full screen or native full screen, DisplayFusion can't constrain the window size.

Ive done this on my G9. In the monitor configuration tab in DisplayFusion i have split my screen so the middle part is 2560x1440 and the sides are 1280x1440. Then you can maximize your windows inside those splits like 3 seperate monitors.

Excellent, thanks for letting us know the steps you use. As long as the game isn't running fullscreen you should be able to use splits like this.
