DisplayFusion

DisplayFusion

Insane CPU load
For some time now, i wonder why my computer feeling sticky. Now i discovered, that DF using processor continuously at 10-12% load. Processor is 6 core i7 5820K and 32Gb ram. Is there any solution? This is unacceptable, and I have to uninstall the DP.
Otherwise DP is great and necessary software, and i love to continue to use it.

Are you running Acronis True Image or Acronis Cloud Protect by any chance?

Thanks for the answer. Yes, I have Acronis True Image 2021 and previous versions of it. Although, according to Task Manager cpu load caused by display fusion.exe process.

Yeah, for some reason Acronis is causing the DisplayFusion.exe CPU usage to run up. It seems to be related to their heuristic scanning feature that was updated late last year.

Hey, I have similar issue, 20% cpu usage, no Acronis software installed. Trying to see if I can isolate service that is causing it.

Tried to update to latest beta version, still same issue.

I do not remember having seen it being so high, only started lately.

Same issue for me. it's feels bit better if turn off multimonitor taskbar(decrease load from 15% to 5%). But taskbar feature was useful for me.

Well seems i found solution for me. After my comentary, i went try change something with windows 10 "personalisation" setting and click on random wallpaper...Looks like displayFusion change it back on my current setting, after that CPU load around 2% or less.

@Chris: Could you send us a request using Help > Support Request in the DisplayFusion Settings window so that we can look into this further?
