DisplayFusion

DisplayFusion

Youtube and other videos doesn't go proper fullscreen on Chrome on one of my monitors.
I got two monitors, one 1080p and one 1280x1024. (and a TV which i either duplicate with the 1080p one or disable)

I mainly use the smaller monitor for videos in chrome but now if i have chrome maximized on that monitor and hit the fullscreen then the video misses the positioning or something. I can see the wallpaper above and next to the video.

Screenshot: https://i.imgur.com/O6SQhgP.png (included a bit of my main monitor in the shot)

If i don't have chrome maximized it then the video becomes fullscreen with no problems..

I suspect that this has to do with displayfusion but it may also be partially chromes fault.

I think this started happening after i started to use one of these displayfusion functions "move window to next monitor", "... and maximize" "...and size proportionally"with chrome to move the fullscreen video in chrome from one monitor to another. Maybe that screwed up chrome somehow?

Other browsers works without problems.

Know anything that might fix this?

EDIT: Adding the solutions in case people search for this:
The problem was that I had a chrome theme installed. Going back the default chrome theme solved all problems.

Have you turned off DF to see if that fixes the problem?

So DF can't cause or change anything that lasts even if the software is shut down? It can't confuse chrome where the edges of my monitor is or something?

Like I said I'm not 100% sure that this is because of DF but I would guess that it is related somehow.

You can be sure if its not running its not the issue. BUT if you still don't believe it uninstall DF reboot and see if that fixes it. If not its safe to say DF isn't causing it. You may also want to uninstall chrome and reinstall it, also check for browser add-ons that may be causing it.

Good luck

One way to solve this issue is, not having chrome on max window size/fullscreen when you chose fullscreen on the video, then you wont see those small lines. Havent found away around this issue yet with chrome. Other browsers dont show this behavior.

That didn't solve it for me.

I solved the problem by uninstalling the chrome theme I had installed and started using the default one. This is an common issue with all chrome themes apparently.

Just noticed that I edited in this solution into the original post and forgot about it...
