Classic Shell Start Button broken
I'm using Classic Shell with an animated start button of a Rubik's cube turning as you hover over it. It's the file here[www.classicshell.net].

However, it doesn't seem to work properly with DisplayFusion. Instead of seeing the icon, I see the actual strip (roughly 4,5 cubes) which seems to toggle to the bottom part of the strip when hovering over it.

Considering DF touts Classic Shell support, I was a little disappointed to find that this is seemingly unsupported or broken. Hopefully this bug can be fixed!

EDIT: This only happens on DF taskbars, not on the Windows taskbar on my main monitor. That one's fine.

Thanks!

I use Classic Shell, well now it's known as Open-Shell, and DisplayFusion works 100% with it and I've never had issues, I would hardly blame DF here if you're using some modified version.

I'm not using a modified version. This is basic Classic Shell with the animated start button feature, which is built in in Classic Shell. It seems that DF doesn't support image strips for use as a start button, which Classic Shell does support.

I'll try switching to Open Shell to see if that works.

UPDATE: With Open-Shell, the DF taskbar initially showed a corrupted image, then it defaulted to the normal Windows 10 Start button. Now that it shows that, the start button becomes unclickable.
So I'm sorry Special, but DF does not 100% work with an unmodified Open-Shell either.

UPDATE 2: Open-Shell seems even worse actually; taskbar transparancy is now gone, as well as any other pinned icons I had on the taskbar. I'm going back to Classic Shell, that seemed to have better results.

UPDATE 3: Went back to Classic Shell, now the start button simply defaults to Windows 10. The start menu however does work again, so it's just the custom button that seems unsupported. Open-Shell seems very unsupported, with many more features completely breaking when used with DF. That could also be an Open-Shell issue, as it seems the fork is not very mature yet.

UPDATE 4: A reboot later and the strip I initially had is back. Menu still works though.
