Too dark for me

The gameplay is great but I thought It was really too dark. i had too focus so much sometimes to understand where I was going, even with the maximum brightness. so bad because the graphics are really great and the gameplay pretty accurate.

It's dark for me on default settings but once I got the flashlight it was fine and made sense as to why it's that dark

Uh you can brighten the game up quite a bit using the in game settings. I have very poor sight and had to do that and it brightened things up just great. Also there is a flashlight to use and I got that not too far into the demo.

I think it's because they want you to keep powering up the in game flashlight. I keep forgetting, so I'll get jumped at distance by gun toting guys. I still made it through the demo without dying, but it was a bit annoying.

I love the dark and vivid setting! Also the superb gameplay! Buying it

You should try disable shadows, the first game is very dark with the shadows at max, i set to medium for a better experience.
