any trainers or cheat codes?
I was having a lot of fun with the game until I arrived to villa and got stuck in the last arena, my selection of weapons upgrades was bad and seems like there is no way to reset the skill tree, is there any trainer or cheat code? is my last attempt before dropping the game.

Lower the difficulty

Run around and prioritize high damage enemies, especially the guys that shoot these violette balls.

too late, I already finished the game, for a game that gets so many things right, the weapon balance is abysmal, and so are some of the encounters, vila, and that mushroom level, oh well

nope. nothing. Ive been searching for trainers/cheats since it came out on Early Access Im mad that WeMod hasnt put it up yet neither. They have the first game i think. Idk what their problem is? The Cheat Engine I think shows something but i dont know how to use that it always breaks.:BL3Shrug: no console commands neither so ur sh*t outta luck. and to those who say "just lower the difficulty", Very Easy is the hardest Very Easy ive ever played in my life its more of a borderline Normal mode. :BL3Shrug:

The closest thing to cheats is the ng+, you can have inf ammo and godmode there, maybe google for a save file and check if you can play in ng+

Villa was at least twice as hard while it was in early access. By comparison, it was quite easy for full release, largely because there were far more enemies and there were less weapon and Dark Tome options. The exotic weapons hadn't even been added yet.

For that reason, I didn't find it bad at all. I think it's just a matter of perspective and above all, being prepared for it.

Nightmare Land does kind of suck. Like so many earlier levels, it's often hard to see the enemies, whether that be due to scenery obscuring your view or overuse of excessive darkness. Easily the worst part about it though was the stretch between the mushrooms and the towers. The combination of enemy ambushes, scenery and poorly placed invisible walls everywhere limiting your ability to maneuver left me with a strong impression that it wasn't play tested much (if at all).

The mushroom level isn't out of place per se. Mushrooms are a common thematic element found throughout both games. In this case, it presents us with a good example of how level design itself can be used as part of the story-telling.

The level begins in the red rooms, goes into Alice in Wonderland mode, plateaus into an unsettling, nightmarish realm and finishes with fragmented islands surrounded by bright light before ending up back in the red wallpaper rooms.

The whole level is undoubtedly meant to be symbolic of a bad hallucinogenic trip, which should be pretty clear given the inspiration behind the game. You're begged to question what's real and what's imaginary from the very beginning.

That said, having played the first game, I agree it does seem slightly out of place for the priest, specifically. The level seems better suited for the journalist. It made sense in the original FMF because you're experiencing their collective madness, but in the second game it makes a lot less sense.

Regardless, I think there were quite a few levels that seemed more out of place than Nightmare Land, namely the Arctic and Desert Shrine.

I was able to easily beat the game on expert with zero deaths using the Axe / Nasty Lenny, Eternal Fish, Pump Shotgun, Rifle, Rocket Launcher and Des Ghoules Remastered with the Resistance + Life Steal + Expired Medicine pages. This combination of pages, especially with Eternal Fish, is ridiculously overpowered.

The Pump Shotgun and Rifle served as my main work horses, leaving the Rocket Launcher largely for Hollow Hunters (the laser sight, rail gun enemies) and Des Ghoules for high priority targets and bosses.

Once you've learned the levels, know which enemies to prioritize and how to efficiently deal with them, there isn't much that should be causing problems for you.

The first FMF is way, way harder than FMF2. In fact, I think the bosses in the first game, even on normal difficulty, are probably harder than everything in FMF2 combined.
