Fulqrum lancher error

Hello all,

I'm facing a problem when I try to start my copy of FMF 2, where the following error is returned when I try to start the game: " fulqrum-launcher cannot be closed. Please close it mannualy and click retry to continue."

I've tried to close the launcher manually, as it says, however when I do it the game fully closes, and when I try to click on "retry", the game also closes.

Current specs:
Intel Core I5 12400
64GB RAM 5400MHz
Gigabyte 4070TI
1TB Corsair MP510

Does anyone have a solution for this issue?

Hey there!

Can you, please, check your Task Manager if the Launcher is still running there? If it is, try closing it and then launch the game.

If you still can't run the game, try launching the game directly using the FMF2.exe file, located (by default) in:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Forgive Me Father 2\ [/quote]

Hello FQ_Dom,

I've tried to start the game directly from the launcher on the game folder, where the fulqrum launcher is shown to me, and when I press play, a black screen flashes on my monitor, and nothing happen after that, where if I try to open the game again, the same launcher error appears.

Regarding the process on my task manager, I've searched the process list a couple times, where I was not able to locate any process that seems to be related to the launcher. Can you please confirm if the launcher have a unique name and icon?

I've tried to uninstall and re-installl the game, however the problem persists.

Please let me know if there is any other suggestions that can help me to solve this problem.

Hello all,

Here to share an update on it, where this problem seems to be related to my antivirus program, as soon as I closed the app, I was able to start the game without issues.

If you are facing this problem, try to close your antivirus app and run the game and check if this fixes the game launcher.

Could you please remove the unwanted and unneeded adware from your games instead?
