What the hell happened to the performance?
before 1.0 I was getting 100-144fps 99% gpu usage. Now, Im getign 60% usage MOST of the time sometimes 90ish but the Frame rate is allllllllllll over the place now.

3800X\6700XT 1440p@ 144hz. SSD

People claiming it "runs fine" have low standards or are just generally less attuned to such things. The game performs poorly. That is not a matter of opinion.
You are hilarious. This game have much better optimalisation than FMF1.
I finished game on integrated AMD card 780M in 4K, no upscaling, epic details, AA off, frame generation on, with 60 - 90 FPS all the time. Bad drivers of your 3080 Ti i guess. :D

I had a steady 90fps pretty much all the way through my 1st run through at max settings but on my new game + run it chugged hard a good few times. I think once too many enemies spawn in it becomes a bit of a slideshow or for me the amount of gun decals from infinite ammo was causing issues lol!

I never went so deep with FPS while finished arenas painted by red stuff. That sounds like a cpu or motherboard bottleneck problem, Are you sure you didnt combined new GPU with older PC components?

Yep, my drivers are bad and I have no idea what I'm doing. Definitely haven't been doing this for 20 years. Definitely don't mod games and tweak hardware in my spare time.

You're welcome! :purpleeye:

Btw, try adding "-D3D12" in your launch options if you have a card that supports it. I got ~40 FPS higher in big fights with lots of bodies and blood on screen.

I have made a performance boosting mod and uploaded it to Nexus. Once they approve it, I will post a link here.

Basically, this game's biggest problem is that bullet decals are permanent. This makes areas with large fights slow to a crawl because draw calls nuke your CPU. I made a mod that assigns a lifetime of your choosing to bullet decals and makes them invisible at a distance of your choosing.

This explains why I had only had fps issues on a couple of levels then as I only used the double barrel with infinite ammo on said levels lol.

Lol his mod would take less than 5 minutes to install, I suggest you stay away from modding Skyrim or Fallout if 5 minutes of effort is too much for you lmao...

^^ was gonna say....

The original developers are often NOT the ones that improve a game's performance or quality the most.

Have you guys tried turning your PCs on/off? Also make sure your mouse and keyboards are properly connected. Also try re-seating your video card. If that doesn't work try taking the battery out of your motherboard and reinserting it. If it still doesn't solve the problem then take your PC back to Walmart for a refund.
