+1, HDR can be accomplished via Special K, if I max out the FOV the game is barely playable at 32:9 (is severely cropped and feels like 50 FOV maxed out at 120 @ 32:9).

After finding in-game settings you like, exit the game and edit the file GameUserSettings.ini at C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\FMF2\Saved\Config\Windows. Set the field of view to whatever you want. Save, set the file to read only, and play the game.

This is too hard for people. Their expectation seems to be that they should be able to achieve a rock solid 200+ FPS at all times by doing nothing more than maxing everything out and uncapping their FPS, regardless of what their hardware setup is.

In the event this doesn't magically work for some reason, then the next step is to make a post on the forums, providing as little information as possible, and telling the developers to fix their game. :laughing_yeti:

You expect them to change numbers in Notepad?! No offense, but I think you're vastly overestimating the abilities of the people whining about performance issues on these forums.

I'm convinced that these people have no idea how their computer works or what the frames per second "FPS" value is even derived from, much less have any experience messing with initialization settings. This might seem mind-boggling to people that have ever modded games like Doom, Quake, basically any Bethesda game, etc., but it's undeniably true.

This is readily apparent to me simply from reading their posts.

how can one get rid of the vertical side black bars in forgive me father 1? is there another file to edit? I'm editing the same GameUserSettings.ini around the same location after having windows explorer show hidden files/folder. Thanks for the help! I have a 32:9 5120 x 1440 resolution monitor.
