Because some people said that there is a kraken that could kill you if you swim to far out. And something with the water turns red but idk.
The only updates will probably be things that don't really matter such as chickens you can pet, a fishing mechanic, some larger planters or a different graphic for already existing structure options. Sorry man, if I could get a refund I would but these devs look like they are already at the door step of near abandonware. Over 20 years on steam and I've seen this happen so often it's barely even guess work. The only game to break that trend was no mans sky. That means unless these devs get this game back on track, as they stand the game has about a 1% chance of succeeding. So no, other than that one little shark area and some plants here and there the ocean is currently dead.
