CRASH at horde mode when collecting xp orbs

game crashing in multiplayer when i the host collect orbs i have crashed 5 times so far at the end and have tried to collect orbs earlier during the horde defence and still crash as it collects them. game was running fine last week when playing and we have made little to no progress since last week so not a lot has actually changed on our side of the game. game works perfectly fine when on my solo with a bigger base and much more progress

Why do you need to protect the base? A beautiful house with a beautiful view separately without fences, and for collecting experience at night a separate mini-base with traps! And in general at level 120+ on medium difficulty no bases are needed to repel hordes. Just build a 10 by 10 foundation on a flat place, put traps with spikes and rejoice in the middle of the experience, sometimes killing large iobs or those that run! Profit......

i have no issue with the defence at all its the collection of the xp orbs at the end me and my friend are only around lvl 25 on our multiplayer as he cant play that often and the game was working fine last week we have not done anything new its since the last update every time i try and collect orbs my game crashes with a fatal error message.

on my solo im around lvl 90 or so and have a massive base and defences and have no issue at all on my solo its only on the multiplayer i have also changed my game settings from being on epic to lowest and still get the issue

I agree, coop is still in beta, which means the developers are working and now we just have to wait

Yes this is a problem they still need to address. I don't crash with the orb collecting but get massive lag. It seems to be the way items are picked up in this game, each individually. With the orbs there are so many of them collected at the end that the chain of commands becomes huge for the end collection. I run out when I can during , the raids, over the top of my traps, and also during the halfway quiet period in a raid and pick up as many orbs as i can before the raid ends, this lowers the commands from multiple pickup, and therefore the lag, on orb collection at the end of the raid.

last night when i played with my friend i ran out even before the half way point and it crashed but last week when we played we could do the whole thing perfectly fine something in the last update has made it worse to the point we cant do horde wave at all as i just crash as soon as it tries to pick up the orbs. on my solo im much higher lvl and get alot more orbs then when im playing with my friend and it works perfectly fine. i even had my friend wait at the back so he wasnt picking up orbs at the same time

I forwarded that information to the developers and maybe it will help them to reproduce the situation.

I did let the developers know about the issues you are having and did specifically mention this case. There should not be any additonal performance hit happening by the latest patches but as you got the problem now.

Could you kindly give us some more information about the your system and what options you used in-game?

EDIT: We were able to reproduce this issue and are planning to (hopefully) fix
this issue with the next hotfix.

awesome i hope your able to get it fixed i was running on epic settings and also tried putting everything on low, im using an amd radeon rx 6800 16 gig vram gddr6 2000mhz graphics card, amd ryzen 9 5900x 12-core processor 3.69ghz processor speed 24 threads with 32 gig of on board ram

your graphics settings play a huge roll in xp lag, lowest graphic seams to make the biggest lag for xp balls
