Desert Armor

I've completed the Thor Desert Armor quest line but the blueprints for the Desert Armor didn't drop. I've been all through the red desert and haven't found the blueprints either. Got a full set of the Golden Archer armor, but the heat resist on that doesn't advance when upgraded. So I'm locked out of the endgame because even with Topaz Charms I can't get my heat resistance high enough to go into the biom. Is there a work around or am I just out of luck? I've finished the last boss on a previous play through, but just wanted to try something different.

Why "drop"? Reward for the quest "Desert Armor" from Amira.
Check Thor and Zaid, maybe forgot the quest somewhere?
Or scroll through the list on the armor workbench, maybe it's somewhere higher, not at the end

Use that armor and when in the red desert go through the emerald shop, past the teleport statue, out the second gate and grab the cactuses you see. Cooking them with water makes the cactus smoothie, which gives you a five minute heat res buff

That works for the Desert portion, once you go deeper in where the "red" desert is it does not work you need the armour.

I thought you get it from the Emerald Shop? Saw the blueprints and the armour there. You need to fully upgrade it to be protective against heat. Did not look very good against damage.

Have you tried upgrading your armor bench?

You can craft them at you armor bench, but like the above player said, you need to upgrade your bench.

Using the desert armor and those smoothies I can go into the searing expanse with no problems, but then again the heat res does increase once you upgrade the desert armor

yeah i would try upgrading it, i dont think the desert heavy armor was a quest reward?

Bench is at level 6.

I have the same problem. Level 6 armor bench, did the quest to give the garnets to the desert vendor and turned it into the dwarf, but I cannot craft the armor. Pretty annoying and no clue what to do.

The desert armor is a quest reward from thor, the other armor sets for use in the desert like the golden wing armor, golden archer armor, and the golden swordsman armor you get from blue prints found in the golden wing base

I turned in the quest to thor, but the BPs don't shjow with lvl 6 bench as I said. I don't have the golden tribe BPs yet because the heat is just annoying even with cactus juice.

Oh.. Gold Tribe BPs are randomly collected (or drop) from various Golden Wing Base. In most cases they are located at top of the platform. Even myself have not completed the entire sets of Gold Tribe Armours.
