Cant play in full screen

i have bought this game today and i have one problem. The problem is with the screen. When i push play button on my steam game,game start to load, but my monitor shows me black screen and title- invalid format. When i press alt + enter the screen shows me the game, but in windowed mode. I don't know what to do my monitor is LG DM2752 FULL HD 27, graphics card ati radeon hd 6850 please help..

there is nothing you can do to help other than 1. going to an appliance store and getting your computer updated. 2. getting a new computer. 3. or by a better insertable hardrive plus buying new monitor

This can be a problem with the game trying to run at a refresh rate that isn't supported by your monitor. You should be able to use the following instructions to force the game to run at the correct refresh rate:

1) In your Steam library, right-click on 'Sniper Elite: NZA', and click 'Properties...'
2) On the 'General' tab, click on 'Set Launch Options...'
3) Type "-60Hz" in the box that pops up, click on 'Ok'.
4) Close the 'Sniper Elite: NZA - Properties' window.
5) Launch the game from Steam as usual.

My computer is really good , monitor is new why i should to buy new one.. I'm playing this game already but just in windowed mode its a little bit uncomfortable

Hmmm, if the monitor is new maybe try that command again but with -120hz?! I hope this helps!

Yes, but the window mode just get smaller

when in a lower resolution, hit alt + enter to see if it allows you to play in full screen.

yes it allows and when the game is in fullscreen i can choose 1920x1080 ant play in full screen but when i exit the game i cant play in full screen again. Thank you

can see it uses 16/9 format and 1920x1080 resolution
but hz i cannot find any info about on that monitor

note: know the game works flawless in fullscreen with 16/9 format - 1920x1080 resolution - 60hz refresh rate (by default the game should start up in full screen with the settings mentioned above)

ps. can you find out how much mhz the refresh rate is?
since goggle cannot find this answear

side note: to developer if you somehow could add a config file that we could edit manuel
in case we have a screen not suported by the default game resolutions that would be really great!
eks: if there was a line said 1600x900 then we could edit it to 1600x1200 instead or something else, i know this trick works with many other games

Yo Smokey, thx for the fix. I used 144hz and i couldnt start it, changed from 144hz to 60hz. Now i can start it. THX alot
