It would be a lot more interesting if there is no limit on cities, so you can have big and small cities based on their productions, rather than cities (except 2) all having the same population, which is less realistic. Of course, when not achieving all achievements, a limit is fine. However, I dont see the point of having a limit.

Besides, I dont know whether it is a bug. I sink all the ships of my 3 rivals. Somehow, one of my rivals managed to settle in a new city when he has no ship. I suppose you should at least have a ship in that city to build the warehouse? So, what's the point of sabotaging your rivals when you cant harm them at all?

Bug 1:
I have posted in your kalypsomedia forum, but it seems being ignored. For the two week captain training residence mission, the teacher maps never get deleted once the courses were completed. For instance, my save has 5 teacher maps accumulated on the top. It affects the reading of my ongoing missions.

Bug 2:
For the goods-swap-for-goods mission, for instance, a senate member is requesting for 1607 spices and will give me 2k+ cloth in return. I have 1607 exactly in the warehouse, and the mission fails. However, if I buy another one from the city to make it 1608, the mission will be completed with 1 spice left in my warehouse.

Bug 3:
Also, my advisor usually states in German ('Rom/Akkon is in trouble' etc) when I am playing in English. Is it supposed to be like that?

==

Also some suggestions:
For two types of missions, (1) the collect at least x goods for the northern cities of Venice for 120% production price mission; and (2) the ship delivery to a difficult city mission, it is better to add a button in the senate when you have the good/ship ready. I don't see why the goods/ship must be collected on the specific date. By having such change, you dont have to occupy the room in warehouse for (1) and you wont receive the advisor message for (2). Also, if possible, I would like to have an option to disable certain types of advisor messages.

I dont know why I cant make a new thread, so I have no choice but to make another post here. Sorry about that.

When you overbuild housings (empty housings more than 5), you can squeeze the other local traders to demolish their housings to, eventually, 1. But that is not the case for businesses. However, I notice that sometimes a lone city can have their businesses torn down. So, what is the exact requirement for that to happen?

For the last building from local traders, you can buy. Is there any way to do the same from rivals? I have tried sinking all rival ships, using taverns to harbour-ban as well as buying out all raw materials & bloackading. None of those works.

My game still crashes after 30 minutes. I have read everything and have tried everything, but the game crashes all the time! I have updated everything (drivers) but no luck.

Hi!

@pf_kcmk_09112001
Thank you very much for the feedback!

You didn' recieved an answer till now because we've been out of office during the holydays.
Anyway, thanks a lot for reporting. You faced some issues which haven't been reported yet. I'll report these in our internal bug tracking system:
- Treasure maps
- German voice with English language
- The goods-swap-for-goods mission

To answer your question regarding overbuilding: It is intended that overbuilding should dislodge you opponents (regardless of housing or businesses). There more you build, the more useless becomes every building of an opponent. As soon as the 'uselessness' reaches a certain level, the opponent will demolish their buildings. ...but I guess your intention is to hamstring your rivals. This won't be possible as they are a part of the game and it is intended that they can be pushed around a little but they won't be 'dead'.
Furthermore, I do not think this will have an impact on the multiplayer very much. Or can you disproove this?

@CoRe*Killerb
Please send your DxDiag to support@kalypsomedia.com and tell them in detail what's your issue. Please mention the exact piont of time when the crash happens (Before the launcher opens; after the launcher opens; when the game opens; within the main menu; within the game; while starting the game)

Best regards,
Daan

Would it be possible to have the advisors adress problems more precisely? Like "Building materials needed in Rome" or "Workers needed in Algier" istead of "Problems in Rom"? It would make things much easier and comfortable and I do not think it would be hard to implement. Also an advice, if there is a new mission in the Senat.
