You can get Crispin to examine the clock at the train station, is this of any relevance further down the line, or just a red herring?

Just flavor.

I would of chalked it up to that too, except it left a data entry in my pouch. Figured that was a clue it was relevant somewhere.

Maybe try entering it in the Kiosk?

@ Oh_Man: The standard for whether something gets added to the data pouch isn't whether it's useful, but whether it's the kind of thing that an old-school player with a pen and pad of paper would jot down. So the time goes in! I guess that makes it kind of a red herring.

Hmm OK. Well with that being said are there any super secret things that no one has found yet? I think just confirming the existence of such things will whip people into a frenzy to comb your game head to toe!

Also next game you guys should make something on the scale of Quest for Glory Trial by Fire Remake by AGD Interactive that would be awesome. Also it would be cool for there to be combat sections.

There's an Infocom reference in the kiosk that I've only seen one person mention (on Twitter). There's a huge number of random Crispin interactions and interjections, but I have no idea of knowing who has or hasn't gotten those. None of them is "super secret," really. There's a way of cleaning the gears that I'm not sure I've seen anyone mention yet, but, again, that might just be because it's not especially noteworthy. The truth is, you ravens have picked poor Primordia pretty clean. :)

In terms of a larger-scope adventure game: I did have an idea for a QFG-like inspired by the Great Game-era Afghanistan. And combat would probably have to be a feature. But truth be told, I think Wormwood's next game is not going to be a point-and-click adventure. We have something else in mind!

Wait, there's a third way to clean the gears? I've found two.
Mark Y.  [developer] Dec 14, 2012 @ 10:00pm
Yes, there are three.
Oh_Man[TFE] Dec 14, 2012 @ 11:37pm
As far as I know the three are: the submersibles in the sewage water, the oil you obtain from Oswald, and going to the bar and using the oil there.

The "Infocom reference" you're talking about is the cutscene you get for typing 'xyzzy' at the kiosk, right?

Like so? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FT7ZHrTUyaA

Yup!

Nice!

I have to say, I'm enjoying all the little references in this game -- the note from A Canticle for Leibowitz, the shout-outs to different games, etc. But I had a question: the business with the glass fingers, that's a reference to the Outer Limits episode "Demon with a Glass Hand," right?

Indeed it is.

You're catching references like they were Pokemon!

My favorite reference is the sarcasm logic used in Crispin. It was taken from a broken robot which looks quite a bit like a certain mysterious theatre going flippant gum ball machine. I had to double check the credits for the voice actor because he even sounds a bit like Kevin Murphy.

I also loved the reference to Short Circuit with the part Leo sells made by Nova Robotics.
