Wolfenstein 3D

Wolfenstein 3D

Should Bethesda Remaster these?
As the title states, like how Ultimate Doom and Doom 2 were given a new official Source Port in unity. Do you think the Wolfenstein games should be given a snazzy new source port to update the games?

I would love that, if they make a version of Wolfenstein 3D that plays like Wolfstone 3D in New Collosus and Youngblood. Would buy the Bratwurst out of it :D

What I mean is more like how Steam updated the original versions of Doom and Doom2 to come alongside an official source port. The remakes of the Doom games were done with Unity and were actually really good.

GOD YES.

More love for Wolf3D - plus all the extra work they've done supporting mods and compatibility.... It would be a dream come true!

That's what I was thinking! I mean ECWolf and LZWolf are fantastic, I really like them. But hell another official port with a few added features would be magnificent. If it contained an addons folder similar to the Bethesda Doom ports it would be ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ marvelous!

I made a tutorial to extract Wolfstone 3D from the new colossus.

Wolf3D already has ECWolf though, does the new colossus version do something differently?

The video is for extracting the arcade machine's files for use in ecwolf. the arcade machine in the bar in the new colossus.
It's not too different, just some map changes. New intro music and title card, and different palette enemies with new sounds. There are also new bosses but they behave the same as the classic wolf3D bosses.
I made the tutorial for those that wanted to experience Wolfstone 3D outside of the arcade machine in the bar.

Also, wolfstone 3D is standalone if running through ecwolf. you only need a copy of the new colossus, and a development build of ecwolf to play.
