Inside you'll see tips on how to get the doppleganger ball lock completed (although I've never tried myself).
When I first started playing FX2, I really didn't like this table either, but it grew on me. Part of the reason you can get high scores pretty easily on this one is because it's really easy to get 5 extra balls very quickly. Don't light the ball lock, and learn how to hit the shot up the ramp, then into the cube consistently. Once there, knock it into the 3rd lane (where the hole is) using the plungers. Then you have a few seconds to choose a reward using the flippers. You can get 'light extra ball' pretty consistently. Then just hit the ball back up to the cube, and use the plungers to hit the ball into the 4th lane to collect the extra ball. Although I'm not a true expert, I know all the multiball modes can be 'farmed' for points pretty consistently. Levitation is the one I usually go for, as you can just do it over and over while increasing the jackpot value by hitting the 'Nessie' shot. Yeah, it's sorta hard to hit the floating ball, I agree. but get the ball stopped and it's not too hard.
Good luck, hope that helps. :)
