Pinball Wizard Score/ how does it work?
Hey there..i wondered how the pinball wizard score is calculated?
When i compare my scores with people in my friends list i noticed that my pnball wizard score is about 11k (pretty low) another person in my list is already at 1.2 million pinball wizard...but i dont get how he did it...I owned him on almost every table I have...often with a factor of 10x the highscore of that competitor.
Hes got 6 more tables than me but all the scores on these are mediocre..like less than 5-10 mill.

So how can one achieve such a high pinball wiz score..or how do i increase mine?

Pinball wizard score is your superscore, plus the superscore of all your friends, times the number of tables you own.
(mySS + FList-SS)*tables owned...
i would have never thought it would work like that...weird way to calculate this...
guess i ll just stick with table scores then ..otherwise i'D have to befriend lots of people just to raise that score..and eventually never talk to them or whatever...
odd choice...

Thanks tigersfan for clearing that up.

Ok, so how is your superscore calculated? This whole scoring thing has me pretty confused. It seems like you just need more friends to get higher scores, other than your actual game scores.

Superscore is much simpler; it's simply your total high score in millions (rounded down per table I think) across all tables. The current problem with it is that some tables score much higher than others, especially Spiderman, so you probably shouldn't take it too seriously unless it's changed. A dev post quite a while back hinted that it might be changed (to some sort of weighted formula I presume), but until then it is what it is.

There are also some highly suspect scores from a very few people (I'm convinced of 3 myself). They have scores at a multiple higher than anyone else on a table(s) and are missing achievements seemingly necessary for those scores. A dev has specifically stated pavel.cacov's scores are not legit; you can figure out the other 2 easily yourself. I'm not sure if or how those will be addressed, but feel free to ignore them in the meantime.
