Core Pack all the way - best 4 tables IMO - Epic Quest is freaking hilarious too!

All the tables are worth it really, it's more a matter of preference. You can't really go wrong with the core pack, or any of the others... heh. Depends if you prefer super heroes, star wars or something more traditional from your pinball. Try the demos.

All of them are worth it. This is the best video pinball out there.

I'll add that I haven't played one table I didn't like, although there was one or two that came across as boring....but I plowed a little time into one, achieved 100 mil and now it's a fave table. Some just take a little extra effort to find the crazy.

If you've only got 10 bucks then I suggest Core Pack, but I really enjoy the Spider Man table, Star Wars and Tesla.

Also, Paranormal has to be one of the best pinball tables I have ever played. Ever.

I really like the star wars episode V table. I don't really care for the other 2 that much but V is great.

It's hard (impossible?) to find a "bad" table. People aren't the biggest fans of V12, but that's the only one I ever really hear complaints about (generally because it's rather plain and the whole car thing doesn't appeal to too many people). My personal three favorites so far are Epic Quest, Infinity Gauntlet, and the new Marvel Civil War. But honestly, they're all really unique and fun, and as they open up and you discover more about each table, they just get more and more compelling to play. This is a great game. A little overpriced for all the DLCs in my opinion, but they seem to be supporting the community with the occasional free table, so I'm a big fan so far despite the cost.

I would always start with core pack due to them being non-licensed and very unique. This was the original four table release of Pinball FX 2 and I think they had a good amount of development time. They all have unique play styles as well as diverse themes. Secrets of the Deep and Pasha are still two of my favorites.

Then I would think about the Avengers pack. All four tables are incredibly different and Avengers is very unique in it's play style. They are very video mode based and have a lot of things going on that could never be done on a real world table. Everyone should play Infinity Gauntlet at least once.

I have not gotten to into Epic Quest but it comes highly rated and is very funny, which is unique.

When Captain America comes it is my favorite table on the platform.
