Fab in 3D Vision!
I am really enjoying this game in stereo 3D. It's like your standing at the table. You need to turn off reflections and the dot matrix display but after that, it's perfect! :)
Great job Zen. :)

I have bought all the tables and I'm still really pleased with my purchases. Playing this over Tomb Raider, Far Cry 3, GuildWars 2 and even Game Dev Stories on my phone!

Brilliant Stuff!

Also bought all tables on the strength of 3D Vision compatibility. Now my go to games, above Tomb Raider etc. Just epic in 3D. The nvidia forum 3d thread pushed me to buy. No regrets, just wish they'd fix the dot matrix and maybe allow higher convergence. Looking forward to Epic Quest table!

My experiences with stereo 3d in this game are mixed. The normal view of the table looks great and it even makes the tables look much less cluttered. On the other hand, the convergence in cutscenes is totally wrong and makes your eyes explode.

The solution is set depth to max and reduce convergence until your eyes are not bleeding. Use shift+F5 to reduce convergence, ensuring you've enabled advanced keyboard short-cuts in NVidea ctrl panel. Problem solved and immersive 3d pinball experience awaits. Kudos to developers for an awesome 3d experience! Please fix dot-matrix if possible, thanks. :)

Yeah!

Completely agree. Or provide an additional option that enables the dot-matrix when needed e.g. minigame selections.

I recomend to use low depth from 0 or default to 25 , enable advanced 3D in game settings in the set keyboard settings button ( I use ctrl-F1-F8 ) , in the game adjust the convergence until the images are aligned and look sharp and then decrease convergence until blured for low 3D depth o slightly misaligned or more as desired but comfortable with no crosstalk and use the cycle frustum if the left and right borders of the screen look wrong or black , this way the dot matrix display looks good and at the front closer to you .

Save the advanced settings , then you just have to set the same depth in Nvidia control panel when playing again (in game you can increase or decrease depth but just a little around where the convergence was adjusted and saved ) .

This works for every game with no rendering issues (shadows , reflections ,shaders ,render depths ; bloom , depth of field and blur cannot be disabled ...) like this one where even the microsoft , title screen , table guides , mouse pointer are in 3D to play games in 3D Vision that are not 3D vision ready or with unknown rating .

I found out that if you play in portrait, you still have to set it to portrait using nvidia settings, rather than ingame only. Otherwise, it when you turn the screen, the 3d is the wrong way and looks funny. I did this last night to try it out, and ended up getting my highest score on the table, lol. I'd say it works pretty good.

I'm not a techie so excuse stupid Q. 3D Zen Pinball sounds great, so is that as in your PC hooked up to a 3D capable monitor/HDTV and using active-shutter 3D glasses? Or something completely different?

most nvidia cards are '3d ready' and you can go into settings and turn it on. Now, to use true 3d, you need a 3d monitor and glasses, yes. But you can use any pair of red/cyan glasses if you are ok with it. It works good, but distorts the colors. It will atleast give you an idea of what it looks like. I think I got my pair out of my sons cereal box :)
