Pinball FX2

Pinball FX2

Most expensive pinball game I ever bought. Removed from store.
I paid hand over fist and got all of the content expecting top notch customer service and long term support. While I appreciate the idea of porting over tables as DLC the removal of the original game game from the store is annoying many, and gives strong indication that the game will receive no further content or patching.

The main problem is how certain tables are missing. As the paying customer at the end, I do not need nor want to hear about licensing issues, coding woes, or any other such stuff. I want the content for which I have paid a premium, or at the very least, if that truly is impossible, I want a free table of equal or greater value.

To be honest even in that case i'd have my reservations. A replacement table wouldnt make up for the loss of a South Park table or a Fallout Table.

I also do not want to have TWO pinball games, with near identical names, massive amount of crossover tables, it'll be a nightmare to remember which game cover which tables.

Either make PinballFX2 run within PinballFX3 fully featured, as a legacy support feature or I am not downloading the new client, not purchasing any new table, and I am effectively discontinuing any purchase from the developper. If they cant be trusted with the money I give them to ensure that my purchases are a worthy investment then I cant gamble on them anymore

Yeah well, some "licensing" issues are just cheap excuses. Like I had the Zen football table -- I'm pretty sure they either didn't have to pay licenses to the Zen soccer team at all, or they could have gotten a decent deal from them.

I don't know what else is missing, though.

The football table isn't ready yet, but Zen intends to make it available in FX3.

What are you guys talking about? I've played the Zen football table already in FX3.

I haven’t looked for it, so maybe the table is already available as you say, but you can see what I was talking about in the pinned “FX3 coming soon” thread - the table was neither in the list of available tables nor in the list of tables that wouldn’t make it to FX3.
There are many missing tables, I care about some of that licensed stuff and I paid for it. Not sure why you guys are in tunnel vision mode for the zen tables

You can still play all of your games on FX2 that has not changed. Some stuff they could not bring over to the newer version of pinball FX3. The developers have said this exact same thing. Its out of there hands. Its not tunnel vision. Its about accepting the reality and moving on.
No problem. In exchange the developpers can accept the reality of not getting a dime more from me ever again and move on.

Fair enough.

How did u lose any of the FX2 tables to begin with?...
You make it seem they took your stuff while in fact they added 95% the stuff u had already to a newer version of the franchise at no charge while you are still able to play the FX2 stuff just fine.

Why should they be giving anything to you at all. Its like saying I bought a VHS copy of Star Wars back in the 80ies and expect to get the DVD and BluRay later down the line for free!

Exactly. Zen made a mistake there by not charging a content transfer fee for FX3 (something like $10-15 would've been fine), but try telling that to these entitled people.
News flash - it costs money to develop a new, upgraded version of the game and renew licenses for it.
