7.1 virtual surround sound

Will this game support 7.1 surround sound? I'm asking this because Dead Island had the problem with the screeching noise (I'll probably have my 7.1 headset intact until it releases) but there was a fix for it luckily. It won't affect my purchase but it would be nice to see this feature in this game or to be able to have an option for switching to stereo etc.
