Some trade routes and enroute colonizer questions.
I am looking at a trade ship of mine. I understand that trade ships get set a "home planet" to set up a trade route from. But I don't recall what home planet this trade ship came from. So is there a way to tell what home planet any of your trade route ships are set to? Looking at the trade route ships specs and stuff, I'm failing to see it.

You can only have one trade route per planet of yours anyway whether you set up the trade route or another player did, right?

Do you get more trade if you set up a trade route verses another player setting up the trade route? (that's how it works in Civ4) You get bonus initial money as well as ongoing from trade routes?

What's the best way to tell if you already have a colonizer or trade route ship on way to a planet? Is there a way to mark things on the map, like note on the map "this planet has a trade route ship on the way to it"? or "This planet has a colonizer on the way to it"? Or a way to see ship pathing of ships you haven't selected so you can see one of your ships is going there? Or some other trick or solution?

Similarly some way to mark a planet as "this is a planet I want to colonize" So I can tell when deciding to make a new ship, to make that ship a colonizing one because I have a planet I really want to colonize and then easily find that planet to set the colonize ship to it?

Also it would be nice if something alerted us if a planet we want to colonize or have a ship enroute to colonize gets taken by another player. If there isn't a way to do this in game, is there a mod for that?

Does GC4 have solutions to any of these problems?

Can you have trade routes to your own planets? If you can not, what happens if you set up a trade route to another players planet and the planet flips to you?

No, you can't have trade routes to your own planets. If a planet you have a trade route flips you lose that trade route but can now establish a new one.

Being able to set map markers would be nice. I don't think the game has it. I think what people do (I don't) is use a Rally point for that.
A lot of the other questions I am unsure of since I have limited time in this version of GC.

I don't think there is any other than cycling through all of your ships and looking at their destinations.
