Dont know why you want to play a game where you have to cheat to get satisfaction
Go off and do something else
Like watch grass grow
or paint dry
My personal observation
No corrospondence required
I've been fairly critical on many aspects of the game, but here's a great opportunity for this: THANK YOU DEVS FOR BEING OPEN MINDED!
Godmode is probably the single greatest cheat because you can see exactly what the AI is doing. Eventually you will learn how to beat it. For those who already know how to beat the AI modding opens up the floodgates for player contributions which potentially can add new content or improve game performance. Playing GalCiv3 is a lot like playing chess. Adding new content is akin to expanding one's repertoire of opening moves. Without it you remain a crippled chess player.
