Thius is really unfair with who already have the game this sale
Sorry bad english

I already have almost all DLC, I just need the last 5 DLC to complete the collection, but, If I buy the whole package with the game and all the DLC together today is more cheap that to buy the 5 last DLC separated.

I guess you guys should gave a discount for who already have the base game and some DLC to buy more cheap the DLC that we not have yet... Like happens with Stellaris, I have a 50% discount today in all DLC that I not have yet.

I'm pretty sure there is a package out there that deducts your already owned items. Especially when you get it on sale. But I could be wrong.

Yeah, they had the same setup last sale, too. Why are none of the individual DLCs on sale? Or a bundle for people who own the base game to get caught up?
Chaos Theory Nov 25, 2020 @ 6:08pm
So let me get this straight...
...I have the base game, and have for well over a year, and now want to buy all of the expansions. The entire bundle is for sale for $39, but I'm only allowed to give it as a gift. But if *I* want all of the expansions, I'm paying full price, well over $100, because they're not currently on sale.

*middle finger*

Negative. If you already own the base game, you are not allowed, currently, to purchase the bundle.

I'll give them a day to unf#@k themselves before I uninstall.
actKK Nov 25, 2020 @ 7:55pm
WTF, they give the option to buy to GIFT this pack but not to COMPLETE our own game? WTF!!!!
actKK Nov 25, 2020 @ 7:57pm
First time I see this s*** on STEAM, this must no be allow, if I can buy this pack as a GIFT why I cant buy it for myself?

Well being rude always work s a treat.

Oh it gets worse. I've purchased Total War: Warhammer 2, instead. *shrugs*

Maybe Gal Civ 3 will still be on my radar for 2021's sale, but... doubt it.

I will quote Schism Navigator

For full disclosure I am an elite founder of the game. This game is not an essential service or listed as a basic human right so the devs can bundle what they choose or not. No point complaining here if you don't agree. Give the feedback to Stardock and move on.

It's too bad. As someone who bought the base game (for full price on release) but moved on since, I stopped by to see what the sale looked like. I'd be happy to shell out $50 or so for the DLCs and try the game with everything included, like they allow for new folks. But I have no real interest in trying to cobble together a few of the DLCs for a lot more money, especially when the game didn't hook me before.

Seems like a poor call, and an approach that I've never really seen for DLC bundles on Steam before. But that's Stardock's call...

Its the worse customer policy I have ever seen. You actually get punished for being loyal and purchased the game before.

Well here is an idea, get your friend to gift it to you. OR just remove the GAL 3 from steam library and purchase the Ultimate edition then
RetroGamingGalaxy Nov 26, 2020 @ 8:27pm
I noticed this too which was pretty odd... I need 3 more DLCs and that pack would charge me $55+ CAD yet if I buy the three I still need it is $21.67 CAD

I think the same. I wanted SO MUCH buy all remaining DLC that I not have yet, I was waiting a long time for a sale. I am truly surprised with their customer policy... I guess is not worth anymore invest on Galactic Civilizations III, I will buy another strategy game today complete with all DLCs.

Sad to see that Galactic Civilizations III game developers not value their customers...

I was gladly paying R$ 50,00 in all remaining DLC on a sale, but, today without sale all remain DLC is R$ 105,00 for me to pay. This is so much money. Why not give me 50% discount ? I am truly requesting something so unreasonable ? Today on sale exist games DLC from others developers even with 75% discount, and I am just requesting 50% discount...

Good bye, Galactic Civilizations III, I will spend my money elsewhere. Galactic Civilizations III developers do not deserve our love.

It just goes to show you they have a questionable business model... It is far better to provide a general discount for everyone so new players can get in, and those who've purchased a lot can get additional discounts as a "thank you" for continued support. I bought this pre-release and I'm shocked that new players can get such a deal while the rest of us get jack all.

I spent my money on some other games for Black Friday. I'm not going to bother investing in a game that cannot even provide a kick back to those who have supported. If they change their practices I might consider coming back. Heck, even Paradox provided a catch up bundle and that tells you something considering their horrid DLC practices.
