Guide to tech trees?
After playing several different factions I came to realize that a lot of the unqueness of each race comes as much from their tech tree as from their traits and abilities. However you can't really tell that from the screen where you select your faction or the very brief description of a tech tree when creating a custom faction. Iconian living ships with no maintenance and fast in-combat healing are something I didn't know about until I started playing them. Also I noticed some tech trees have starbase range increases and some don't which I noticed after building starbases expecting to be able to increase their range later. Also I think one race couldn't build promethion reserves

So has anyone ever compiled a list of differences in tech trees? In the guides section one person has Terrian tech trees pictures, and one other has a guide to the Iconian tech tree, but I don't know of any that compair all of them.
Does such a thing exist, or do I have to do it myself? I know it will become somewhat obsolete after Crusade is out but I'm down for a project and this is something I want myself, although since I can't have two games open at the same time it will be a pain to compare two tech trees.

This one gives a summary of the differences. It doesn't include the Arcaean or Torian trees since those were released later, but the Snathi are in there.

Ah. Good work was done. Still difficult to read and compare and it's still missing information like who has increased starbase radius tech. Someone in that thread suggested a spreadsheet. I might do that sometime.
