How to reveal map using cheat code? Not working?

I typed cheat in steam properties launch. When in game I pressed ~ but nothing comes up for me to type fow?

Does not work. I think that is for the executable if you do not have Steam?

Add "-cheat" (without quotation mark) in the exe file. Do not do this with Steam launch command. Do it with the exe file.

Where is the exe file if you have Steam? I don't see a place to do this in the steam folder exe's?

In the launcher, click on the Links button in the upper-right and then Open Game Folder.

Sorry guys I get that part but when I click on properties of the steam exe's in the game folder I see no place to put -cheat

There is no shortcut space to type that in the game exe properties. What am I missing?

Ok guys I figured it out you have to right click on the exe and create a shortcut. That shortcut then allows you to put in the -cheat code. But when I press ~ in game still nothing pops up for me to be able to enter cheat codes?

Ugh ok it works. It is the ' key that brings the console now. Must have changed? Wow the maps are smaller!
