developers, can you make it so people can see them selves on the map so they know where their at and also when you put down the thing for your territory and base can it also show on the map so its easier to go back and fourth to base, ty for your time on this matter.

The main thing I use for now is the radio tower on top of the mountain. You can see it from a long way away but not everywhere. It's no fix but it helps sometimes.

I’m thinking the best compromise will be something that directs you towards your sleeping bag!

As for seeing your location at all times, we would probably avoid this to keep that DayZ feeling of needing to find road signs to navigate!

Saving way points would be helpful. This allows us to discover yet pin the map after we visited a notable feature. May limit the way points so everything isn't pinned to cheese the map.

Other games, like Surroundead, address this isue by allowing players to find a GPS, and we do have 3 accessory slots and only 1 accessory (flashlight).

Ahhh very good point!
We have discussed this internally and this is seeming like a very possible option!!!
Also, there is another item that can currently go in the accessories slot survivor ;)

Got the game for me and a friend. Can't see them on map makes it hard to play together. Gotta get a refund until that's fixed. This thread makes that seem unlikely.
