So far.
It's cute. I am enjoying it but...

All screens need a way to close them with a button onscreen. TAB and Esc work fine but some have buttons and some don't and some just don't appear to work like the red chest icon? Is that supposed to close stuff?

3rd person view please.

Hotbar slots. Need more.

Stop trees growing through my base please.

Single player - don't autosave death over the top of the currently loaded save game.

Player location on map.

Better labels on map or allow players to add notes. The interactive online map is spartan and the in game one has next to no use at all. I spend more time trying to figure out where in the world I am that much else.

Stack storage in packs and bags please. Current system is too hard to navigate and a total mess. All my new loot goes to my clothing before my backpack and my clothing is the bottom container which means searching down through my inv to find the latest item all the time. Either allow us change the order of the containers on the inv screen or allow us to choose which one fills first.

Slightly slow down respawns in single player. Exploring fully takes time and respawns are just annoyingly quick.

Change up ammo crafting recipes substantially. It's currently entirely unfeasible to craft ammo. I ran around for a while and harvested all supplies and crafted 10 shotgun slugs and it probably took me half an hour to figure it all out and make it happen. For 10 slugs. Then you kill a few zombies in a couple of minutes and get 20 rounds. Starting to see which is more fun? Ammo and medkits are by far the most horrendous to craft. I would rather buy them. It's far less painful. Please consider making it at least 50 rounds per ammo craft and 10 medkits. It needs to be rewarding to save up components and carry them around and to harvest and right now it's a huge PITA for both of those.

Yes it works with Steam offline but the save system seems to be some sort of hybrid thing that has some multiplayer/persistent world systems or settings in it. I am inferring that multiplayer is the intended norm and single player has been added on but not really tweaked properly for single player yet.
Death is autosaved over the top of your loaded save file so keep at least 2 (I have 3).
All loot is dropped on death and I don't know if it is recoverable in the world or not. Bit harsh for single player.
Running around is a bit of a chore without any fast travel.
It's a work in progress so no judgement from me just yet. Simply pointing out facts for now. Make your own choices on whether you wish to play or not. I like a lot of it.
So yeah single player is offline but it's quite clear it leans heavily towards 'wanting you to be' online/multiplayer.

Thanks for the info. I’ll hold off for now, but wishlisted. I’m on steam deck and rog ally so not sure if even controller support is in game.

Yes please locator on map of where you are and the zombie spawn is way to much after clearing a area it should be a little bit before more spawn that is killing me trying to explore areas

All great points, that have been made weeks ago (during beta) and the reason I have not bought the game, too many issues at it current state. The Devs need to prioritize some of the quality of life issues.
