Angels, Demons, and Updates!
I purchased AOWIII at release, and played for bit. Overall, I think AOWIII is great game based on what I have played, but I haven't played it for while now. What is new in the DLCs and updates? Have they brought back the Angels and Demons that can be summoned yet? The AOWII Female Angel with the gold sword was so awesome and I really wanted her back in the this game!

Unfortanely no.
I love those units aswhile but i think they would be too powerfull for age of wonders 3.
Lorewise magic got weaker and keep in mind angels where more powerfull then dragon's back in age of wonders 2 shadow magic.

You can have a unit that looks like an angel and packs significant power if you're playing Theocrat, and two that look rather like classic demon-types if you play a Rogue.

They should add angel and black angel to the game and made tthem available to summon once the leader reaches pure good/evil alignment

Good idea.
However it is currently to easy to become pure good.

Dang, I was hoping they would bring them back. They might be over powering, but it would still be nice to see them. :) I also think that is a good idea, once you become pure good/evil then you could summon them. I am not too familar with the lore in any of the AOW games I only ever played skirmish maps, never the campaigns. I never usually play campaigns in any of these types of games TBH. I would love to see and I would pay a good price for DLC with Female Angels/Death Angels in it as summons. As much as I enjoyed the time I did play so far in AOW III... I was a little disappointed that the female angels weren't in there. :( However, it’s not too late!!! I say bring those Female Angels/Dark Angels back!!! DLC!!! :D

Most of those should end up being linked to by announcements on Steam too.

Nice, thanks for the new gear! It's also good to see the necromancer class and the frostlings race in development, I haven't played for a while now, so I am kind out of touch. However, not to be begger, OKAY, I am being a begger! :D Do you think the Female Angels and Death Angels will be returning at some point in the future of AOW3? :)

According to lore the Archon and the heavenly hosts (the Angels) went through the shadow gates to wage an eternal war and all shadow gates were closed soon after.

I guess I should really play the campaign in this, was this lore from the campaign? Either way, AOW3 is still a pretty solid game, but there is always room to add to the story and bring those angels and dark angels in!!! I musn't give up hope, lol :D

By the way sikbok, thanks for being a good community member, it's good to see interaction between the devs and players. I remember you from the last time I posted here, good to see your still communicating in the forum! I am glad to see AOW3 is still continueing with the DLC, and I hope it does so for a while yet.

u want summoning .. try playing Mage class. lots of summoning of creatures there.

I just started a new game and bought the golden realm DLC about 2 hours ago. I am playing as the Theocrat right now, but I think the sorcerer will be next try. I am not so much interested in the summoning itself, I just want the female angels with golden swords back! :D
