Their helmet ruined it for me. The rest of her is pretty nice, the wings are really cool. However that damn helmet just ruins her would be overall nice design. I don't much care for the trident she's wielding either. I kinda like how in AoW 2 she seemed more like a Succubus. Ah well, here's hoping the Good version of Angels doesn't suck.
At least the Necromancer Death Bringer looks like a badass version of an Angel...
I will render down an example.
Model looks fine. Maybe some boots?
They are really going balls out for this next DLC. I hope it pays off for them.
Hell yeah, those are amazing ones.
I am chomping at the bit for this DLC to release. With all the content that are packing into this thing, it's pretty much an expansion in my mind... which is awesome! I will gladly shell out 10-20 USD for it, hell maybe even 30 USD(with some pause). Really excited for Necromancer and Frostlings!
Back to topic: I have played every aow game and loved all of them but unit design realy isnt one of the developers strengths and the fallen angel is no exception :P (wich is no problem for me btw)
I wouldn't worry about that. It's almost like a completely new game ;).
Note that we usually post news on Friday, so you have something to read and discuss over the weekend.
Definitely the worst angel design i ever saw...
PS
its a spear
