Eternal Lords campaign
Is it good ? Cause I really didn't like the previous campaigns. Golden realms was a tad better but it got me bored in the second chapter....

Depends on your definition of good. I personally really liked it, but expect a bit bigger challenge than the others.

From my not so humble point of view:
It reminds me of wizard throne campaign.
It is a rise to power story with banter between different factions, several choices(mostly if you are going to be mister nice guy, mister greedy or mister ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥)
Eatch map play differenty

First map you got four town ruins that you can reanimate.
Fun fact you can turn your enemies against eatchother aslo if you reanimate one of the towns you get a funny taunt. or if you move your troops there first you get a boring taunt.

Second map your a tigran archdruid keeper mastery.
You get artic empire for free and there is a heart of the artic nearby.
Exploiting tigrans haterd for cold, encouraging betrayels.
And choice to ally or murder edward.
You also can pick greygaurd or shadowborn skills for the next map.

Third map you can ally with either werlac(cannon ending) melenis(everyone is screwed ending)
Or noone(frostlings are badasses ending)
This map is outright awesome.
Are you going to kill ham birling or are you going to have peace with him?
The map is full of towns and it is a free for all.
Sure you have allies*chought* there incompent*chought* but the real fun is in earning your victory soviet style(aka war of attration)

I know what you mean.
The campaign shiped with age of wonders 3 where just a bunch of senario's holding a plot togather with two young fools.
I also like golden realm more because thrislewood doesnt sound like an naivie fool.
He accaul plans rather then be swept up in events.
Avirk the dark is an interesting anti hero.
Dark, broody and fanaticly devoted to the frostling high queen.
Also he sounds like someone who knows how to bloodly lead.
Ugh.
Sundern and edward are nice people but horrible commanders.
There entire campaign was like:
You start with a few heroes and you must kill every enemy on the map.
Every, single,bloody,mission,was,that,boring.
And lets stop this war, having thousents have died for nothing and fixing nothing.
The bad endings screw you over but atleast they feel like a bloody victory.
Not to mention the stories was mostly about a someone wanted to prove there worth....ugh teenagers.
Ethernal lords keep things interesting by not making you play the exact same senario over and over again.
In fact change a choice here or there and the senario change's.

I might not generally agree with your vision of the campaigns, but I can't help agreeing on this part....they ARE teenagers in mind even if not in body. Both could have been much more badass.

Nice people? Well, not exactly, if you go with their respective house campaigns. As Torchbearers they are nice, alright. But observe Sundren in her *Full Roguish Glory and Viciousness* in the Elven court's campaign ;).

I ment cannon ending(torchbearers)
The loyalist endings are far more entertaining.
I like how edward become's becomes driven to fix the commonwealth after lyrissa's death.
Hellbend on building a commonwealth based on the commonwealth founding ideals.
Or how sundren become's condifent then ruthless.
Admitly her going ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ crazy scare's the hell out of me.
Where the torchbearers just makes no sense.
Why didnt edward try to convince lyrissa to come peacefull and explain her actions.
Why didnt he question her about the shadowborn before desiding.
Why didnt he try to capeture her alive?
Or sundren forming the torchbearers because one old human tells her about a consperency?
She is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ spymaster.
She shoud have simple capture issable(or atleast her note's)
Head back to the elven court and have werlac captured or assasinated.
Instead of working with her parents and telling them all she learned.
She makes a third faction basicly commiting treason.
Serious, she is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ princess she can order the advisers to shut the ♥♥♥♥ up....

Same as the others.

You're at war against multiple AI's right from the start. I think the campaigns are the worst part about the game.
