Now both archdruid and socceror are heavy investest in summoning.

Wich in your eyes is the better summoner.

Keep in mind that it isnt just the summoning spells.
Thing's like summoner domain and one with the wild shoud also be considerd.

sorc hands down. Cleaner summoning, they integrate nicelt with your troops, wisps op, eldritch op, multi damage types. Sorcs also get access to spirit dmg.(watcher)

haha eldritch OP i can slaughter them easily and wisps are quite useless imo once your opponent gets his first T2 but the rest i'll agree with.

imo the arch-druid is better. more variety on the summons, the horned god is really strong for me, his spells are brillant such as the one that tears down walls and the like. overall i prefer arch-druid to sorc.

Sorc is easier cause its Sorcerers with stun upgrade makes defending alot easier. Can make whole army flying easily through summoned flying mounts for heroes and many floating/flying summonings.

Arch Druid has great mobility too and more meaty summonings I think. I like those tier 4 snakes since they are cheap to cast and have fear. Also me Iikes Arch Druid heroes cause they start with a good bow :).

Both are good, but for Arch Druid you really need to play High Elves I think. since having good Hunters is important for the class since the summonings are mostly ranged (just like the Sorcerer, which depends alot on support units for range support).

nah an orc Arch-druid is incredibly good those summons get supported by those brilliant Orc Shock troopers or greatswords.

I play elves anyway so that doesnt bother me.

Having played both i say the socceror got a slight advantage over archdruid.
Druid summons are:
1: mostly animals(weak, easy to kill, animals)
2: walking/swiming.

Most socceror summons are:
1:floating.
2:Monsters(aka slighty harder to kill then animals)

I have alot of respect for archdruids but they bore me to tears.

Socceror also got the advantage of:
Socceror apprantice.
Aka fairy fire, summon healers and steal enchantment.
And fairy fire is one very lovely attack.

Summon mounts(while not usefull on small maps, it can really increase mobility on large map, asuming it stop spawning spider eggs:P )

In my games i general have whatever race i conquer(i like to start without cities) troops mixed with summonings.
And once the game is well underway.
Groups of normal troops for defends.
Groups of all terian summons with my floating socceror leader(yes socceror can float with the skill upgrade)

thing with the druid, the sorc might get better units for in battle, but the druid gets some awesome empire growing / ecconomic abilities and some fo the healing power of the theocrat to compensate.

archdruid works super good with goblins - you just out build / grow everyone

Can other classes (non summoners) beat summoners in multiplayer game? Played few times with friend and 100 summoner win.

as a warlord, dread, rogue or theo, just cut off all mana supply and say goo bye to the summoners entire army in like 3 turns, because without mana a summoner is ♥♥♥♥♥♥.
