What kind of machine are you playing on, can you give me the specs and operating system?
system...microsoft windows Xp home Edition version 2002 service pack 3
Or, alternatively, please follow these steps to get an error report - with all the information we need to help you - on our site so I can have that looked into. See: http://ageofwonders.com/support/
"4.2 My game crashes after a while
If you are running on a 32-bit system then it could be that you have run out of memory. Age of Wonders III can require more memory in certain situations like transitioning to and from combat, and 32-bit systems can have some problems coping with it when a lot of applications are open.
There are several things that you can do:
Before starting Age of Wonders III, close unnecessary applications and services that you have running in the background to free up memory for use by the game. Especially closing Browsers and even Instant Messengers like Skype will help as they require a lot of system RAM.
Set the Texture quality on Low in the graphics tab of the Launcher. This will cause the textures to look more blurry, but will reduce the amount of memory the game needs to run.
There is also a way to enable additional memory, but this only works if you have 3GB RAM or more in your PC (note: this changes your OS configuration and doing so is at your own risk)
Right click on “C:\Windows\cmd.exe”.
Click on “Run as administrator”.
In the console window, type: bcdedit /set IncreaseUserVa 3072 and press enter.
Restart the system
If you have any other crash we would like to hear about it. See here on how to report a crash."
